Window Dressing XVIII: Sono Osato

My work for the past thirty-five years has been inspired by the confluence of geological and anthropological history; the connection between terrain and symbolic thought. When I work, I don’t think within the brackets of my lifespan. It is more being inside a sense of time that is indifferent to me and that has a cadence I can only imagine and incant. The inherent pattern of how all the works in my output interconnect over time is a web, not a line, and Silent Language #13 is a good point of entry for anyone who is unfamiliar with my work.
