ICOSA Collective is proud to present (marisco), an improvised sound piece by Jay Roff-Garcia.
(marisco) is a recording of an improvised sound piece performed at the Visual Arts Center in Austin, Texas for P1nkstar's installation 'A Faggy Stage'. The artist makes use of an Alto Saxophone, a Microphone, Roland SP-404SX, their voice, and an Amp.
Jay Roff-Garcia is a Venezuelan transmedia artist and curator working in Austin, Texas. Jay is the director of Ruido/Noise, a bilingual organization dedicated to showcasing and supporting transmedia & time based works through public programming, online releases, and artist support. They earned their BFA at the University of Texas at Austin 2017 and currently work as the Digital Arts Coordinator at the Museum of Human Achievement.
